Where most of our heating application are based on fossil fuels, hot water produced from the earth can be used as an alternative renewable energy source in most parts of the world and is already being used for heating green houses and district heating. In those areas where temperatures in access of 100°C are available, hot water or steam can also be used to generate green electricity. Contrary to Wind and Solar power, geothermal energy can be produced around the clock, independent of external factors.
