We are currently looking for a team leader / senior consultant for our noise and vibration team. The ideal candidate should preferably hold an MSc in Engineering and have 5-8 years or more of experience within the noise and vibration business area. Additional things that would enhance your application are:

  • A university degree in acoustical engineering, or equivalent.
  • 5-8 years or more experience working within Noise, Vibration, Architectural Acoustics.
  • Good insight in business areas, such as Renewable Energy, Marine, Oil & Gas and/or Industry.

The position as team leader - senior consultant will be a combination of administrative tasks as a leader for a group of 8 dedicated engineers, and project management as well as technical work on projects. We will expect you to:

  • Participate in developing strong client relationships, both internally and externally.

The Job requirements:

  • Strong PSCAD/EMTDC modelling and simulation skills
  • A thorough understanding of the principles, characteristics, and modelling of HVDC, other FACTS devices, and emerging inverter based, grid forming technologies
  • Familiarity with sub-synchronous resonance phenomena, power system oscillations, and the interaction of control systems across the grid
  • Exposure to the emerging EMT model and study requirements of North American ISO/RTO and utilities
  • Registration, or eligibility to register, as a professional engineer in a US state

The role

We are seeking an Asset Integrity Engineer (AIE) based in our Calgary location to provide support for existing and new clients.

Suitably qualified engineers with relevant certification such as API 580, 510, 570, 653, etc. and industry experience are required to support various critical ongoing and future integrity projects.

You will:

  • Plan, implement and manage pressure systems integrity programs
  • Develop and coordinate execution of NDE Programs, inclusive of Advanced Techniques
  • Assist specialists and/or seniors in delivering services to internal and external clients
  • Conduct technical assessments under close supervision against defined specifications/scope
  • Collect data, evaluate, and present reports as required and in alignment to the KPI’s and agreed processes
  • Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, accreditation schemes, legislation, and industry standards
  • Use IDMS software’s including GE APM, PCMS and other RBI software’s
  • Conduct systemization & circuitization
  • Create inspection test plans

Primary Function:

Qualifications:

Våre ønsker til deg:

  • Ingeniørutdanning, helst på masternivå eller tilsvarende relevant teknisk fagnivå og erfaring
  • 5 års erfaring innen jernbane- eller transportsektoren
  • God språklig formuleringsevne muntlig og skriftlig, i både norsk og engelsk
  • God kjennskap innen ett eller flere av følgende områder:
    • Risikostyring, sikkerhets- og kvalitetsledelse
    • Risiko - og pålitelighetsvurderinger (CSM-RA, RAMS)
    • Tredjepartsgranskinger
    • Revisjoner
    • Vedlikeholdsstyring- og optimalisering
    • Elektroteknikk og signalsystemer
    • Teknisk kompetanse jernbanekjøretøy - rullende materiell
    • Teknisk kompetanse jernbaneinfrastruktur
