Global engineering and technical consultancy Vysus Group has completed the sale of its Australia-based Grid and Power Systems business to Rennie Advisory. Rennie Advisory is a specialist energy transition advisory firm providing services across Strategy & Operations, Capital Advisory, Economics, Reform & Sustainability, and Grid Connections. The firm advises developers, investors, governments, utilities, network operators and infrastructure owners on some of the most significant energy and infrastructure investments across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region
The transaction allows Vysus to further focus on its core technical consulting business for the Energy markets, enabling further development and growth of its global consulting and delivery capabilities.
The acquisition brings together Rennie's existing capabilities across Strategy & Operations, Capital Advisory, and Economics, Reform & Sustainability with one of Australia's most experienced power systems engineering teams. The combined business will support developers, investors, network businesses, governments, utilities and infrastructure owners across every stage of the project lifecycle, from market entry, strategy and project feasibility through regulation, financing, investment, procurement and grid connection, to construction, commissioning and energisation. The acquisition sees the full Vysus Grid and Power Systems team transition to Rennie Advisory.
