Supporting TransCanada with Cianbro/Three Phase Construction

Overview

SGC, a Vysus Group Company, provided electrical engineering and survey support for the Kibby Wind Power Project. This project is located north of Eustis, Maine and consists of 44 Vestas V-90 3.0 MW turbines.

How we helped

SGC’s electrical engineering and design effort on this project included the very challenging 34.5 kV electric collector system, a 34.5 kV to 115 kV substation, and a 115 kV underground transmission line. SGC performed survey work in conjunction with collector design, the substation construction and the underground transmission line. We also performed field verification of As-Built right-of-way, structure guy locations, line clearing and staking.
